Pro-Tip of this month

Putting: (an average of 30 to 33 putts is what you need to achieve)

Most gollfers I know, complain that in the past, they were very decent on the putting surface, but somewhere along the way their putting degraded completely.

They can no longer control the putter head under pressure (sounds like the YIPS?), or cannot find the smooth back and follow through motion when asked to put for “dough”…

For a great number of players, the “Pendulum stroke” presents them with a number of difficulties, so I have laid out below ideas and advice regarding a successful alternative “putting technique”.
* * *
Forget trying to swing through the shot, staying on a straight line going back and forward, lifting the putter head up after impact.

Try instead to HIT down” on the ball making a clean and solid impact. The “golden rule” is to keep the shaft aligned with your left forearm at impact (Right handed golfers).

Place less emphasis on your back swing and just “Hit” that ball with a solid stroke keeping the club head moving forward as close to the ground as possible…

Take my word for it, the “secret” is all about a solid “impact” with the ball.
When under pressure, golfers find it difficult to swing smoothly through, so instead, just Hit” it.

Have I got you thinking, do you need more informations?

Now it’s time to book a putting lesson.
My own putting has successfully improved under pressure, so can yours. Give it a try and start to enjoy the “whole” game instead of the final strokes letting you down… Book Now - Click Here
