Ciaran Carroll - Head Professional Bray Golf-Club
My name is Ciaran Carroll; I am a member of the PGA since 1987;
I trained as an assistant Professional with Joey Purcell and Pat Heeney.
In 1990, I got my first Head professional job at Youghal Golf-Club in Cork and at the time I played nearly full time. I played the Irish Open 1992 in Killarney and over the years have won numerous Pro-Ams. The biggest win was in the “Chris de Burgh International pro-Am” in 1994 in which I beat 7 Ryder Cup Players.
In 1992, I took the job as head Professional at Hermitage Golf Club in Dublin;
I stayed there for four years building up a reputation as a short game specialist.
In 1996, I left Hermitage to go to County Cavan Golf Club as Head professional. Again I built up a great reputation with members and visitors. I stayed there for six years, then moved back nearer home and took up the job as head professional in the new Bray Golf Club, where again I have built up a great reputation as teacher.
I am known to have the best shop in the area, being a member of T.G.I Europe’s biggest buying group, which enables me to compete with high street stores.
My good friend fellow PGA, Nicky Rombaldi and Myself, are now operating with success this Golf School and Custom Fitting Centre.
